I have over 20+ years of experience in behavioral healthcare and have worked in community mental health, community outreach, case management, hospital-based liaison services, private and public academic environments, and in the private practice setting. I earned both my Doctorate in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. I provide individual therapy, family therapy, parent sessions, couples therapy and psychological evaluations to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples throughout the lifespan. I have extensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment experience and currently provide and supervise our agency’s diagnostic services. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities (i.e., CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, Family Systems, Psychodynamic), and value providing an integrated approach to treatment based on my client’s goals and preferences. I work with clients presenting with a wide range of behavioral health concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma/complex trauma, PTSD, ADHD, life stress, grief, postpartum depression, divorce reaction, substance use, and relationship difficulties. I am a trauma informed therapist, and I am especially passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I have completed training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am committed and sensitive to the needs associated with multicultural spectrums and integrate systemic considerations into the care that I provide my clients. My goal as a provider is to offer high-quality, personalized, and compassionate care as my clients embark on their journey to skill development, health, and healing. I believe that successful therapy is based on a collaborative and professional relationship between client and therapist. I additionally supervise some of our doctoral externs and post-doctoral residents, as they continue to work toward becoming highly ethical and effective professionals in our field.
